1. What size self storage units can I rent?
Most of our locations have a full range of sizes, from 5 ft. x 5 ft. up to 10 ft. x 30 ft., with even larger units at some facilities. All spaces have 9 ft. or 10 ft. ceilings. 2. Do you have climate-controlled units and what is the difference between a climate-controlled unit and a regular unit?
Climate-controlled units maintain a set temperature, and yes, we provide them at many of our properties. Non-controlled units do not maintain a set temperature and may encounter a range of temperature change, depending on the weather.

3. Do I need a climate-controlled unit?
Because of the sturdy concrete and block construction, our non-controlled units tend to stay cooler than a typical steel wall building. Think of your enclosed garage — if you’re comfortable storing belongings there, then a regular unit will be fine.

4. What is a drive-up unit?
Drive-up units allow you to unload directly from your vehicle into your unit. The majority of our units have drive-up access.

5. When can I access my self storage unit?
You can access your unit 7 days a week, 365 days a year, from 6AM until 9PM at every one of our locations.

6. Do you require insurance on the items that I store?
Yes, we strongly recommend that you protect what you store. You may be covered under a policy that you already have, so check with your insurance agent to be sure. You can also purchase affordable self storage protection from us for a nominal monthly fee when you rent your unit. Your Storage Professional can fill you in on your options.
7. Do I have to sign a contract?
We do require you to sign a rental agreement. It is a month-to-month lease, not a long-term commitment.

8. What documentation do I need to rent a unit from you?
You will need a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state-issued ID, or a passport.

9. What if I lose my storage key or forget the gate access code?
Losing your key or access code can happen. If it does, contact your
Key Storage Professional during normal office hours for assistance.

10. When is my rent due?
Rent is due on the anniversary date.

11. Do you take cash only for rent payments?
You can pay in a variety of ways. We accept cash, checks and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). To make it even easier, we can set up automatic payment from your credit or bank debit card.

12. Do you accept commercial deliveries?
Yes! We will gladly accept your commercial delivery. All you have to do is give us written permission to do so. It’s that simple.

13. Can I purchase moving and packing supplies from you?
You sure can! Your Storage Professional can help you select the right box for your move. If you have any left over, simply return any unused or unopened item along with a copy of your purchase receipt up to 30 days from date of purchase. We will gladly process your refund either on the spot or by check within 14 days from date of return.

14. Will you provide a lock for my storage unit?
We don’t provide locks, but we do sell new high-quality, sealed locks. Only you will have the key. You are also welcome to bring your own lock.
